Great Falls Resident Annavieve Joy Gregg Cockrell passed away of natural causes August, 27th, 2017 at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, MT. Annavieve was born in Frazer, MT on November, 24th 1935 to her parents Lewis(Mike) & Louise Gregg. Annavieve graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, OR and married William Gerald Cockrell on May 7th, 1956, and thereafter raised six children.
Annavieve worked as a short order cook at many different restaurants throughout her lifetime and was an avid rock collector, loved George Strait and unicorns.
Annavieve is survived by one sister, Vivian Gregg Pankowski of Ashland, Or. and her six children, Clark, David and Twyla of Great Falls, MT, Debra Geer and William of Logan, MT and Dorinda Dighero of Arvada, CO. In addition, Annavieve was a proud grandmother and great grandmother.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 5th, 2017 at 12 pm at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point, MT. Internment to follow at Poplar City Cemetery.
