Bonnie Jo (Syzmanski) Hallgrimson passed away on April 21, 2017 in Bismarck, ND from medical complications.
She was born in Poplar, MT on March 13, 1953 to Carol and John L. Syzmanski.
Bonnie attended school in Poplar, she graduated in 1971. After high school she attended nursing school on Miles City, MT then went to mortuary school in Portland, OR. In 1975 she met Edwin Hallgrimson, moved to Culbertson and got married on October 14, 1977 and began her family. She continued her education later attending at Fort Peck Community College and Rocky Mountain College obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
She had many business adventures, loved to travel, gamble, play Bingo, taking care of children, playing games including Pinochle, Yahtzee and puzzles, spending time with family, friends and neighbors, fishing, cruising around, people watching, garage sales and absolutely loved all animals (except snakes, she hated snakes!).
She loved to visit with anyone; she could have an hour conversation with a stranger. She was always a happy person.
In 2014 she moved into a house in Bismarck, ND where she received her medical care. She loved to joy ride around Bismarck and down by the river.
Preceding Bonnie in death are her parents Carol and John L. Syzmanski; her mother and father-in-law Carol and Hannes Hallgrimson; sisters Ruth, Bobbie Dee Syzmanski; brothers-in-law Gary Rowe, Allen Wyttenbach; daughter Julie Ann Hallgrimson; niece Lanora Kay and nephew Chad LaRoche.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Edwin; daughter Monica Hodnefield (Shanon); sons Matthew Hallgrimson (Myla), Lee Hallgrimson (Shanda); sisters Carol Lee Vondal (Roger) and family, Bettie Rae Rowe; brother John A. Syzmanksi (Eddy Mae) and family; sisters-in-law Vickii Wyttenbach and family, Vala Hallgrimson and family; brother-in-law Leslie Hallgrimson and family; grandsons Kevin Kramer (Paige Stinson), Gabriel Willard Starr and Alexander Henry; granddaughter Mia dela Cuesta and great-granddaughter Lillian Kramer.
