Pam and Dennis Benson says
Doug and Rosanne, we are so, so sorry for your loss! We have had our own notion of grief…the thought that it was a sad time that followed the death of someone we love more than words can express. That you had to push through it to get to the other side! But I’ve learned that there is no other side. There is no pushing through. But rather, there is Absorption; Adjustment; Acceptance. Grief is not something that you complete, but rather you endure. Grief is not a task to finish and move on. My heart is crushed!! I know what you and your family are going through. The horrible loss of a child no matter how old they are, changes you! I remember experiencing the “would of”, “could of”, “should haves” but it doesn’t change anything. Cling to each other! Remember Brad for the wonderful awesome son he was. Keep his memory alive. Your entire family is in our prayers! God will bring you the comfort you need—run to it!

Vivian Wall says
Dear Doug and Rosanne, Jay and all the Erickson/Monson families,
I did not get to know Brad, except from a distance. But I know the loss of a child is horrendous. It broke my heart to read of your sorrow. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers, as grieving can last a long time. Cling to each other, Doug and Rosanne. I ponder what heaven must be like for my Mom now, and knowing she is with the Lord, helps – and with her parents. Brad will have gone on living in another place, and as David the Psalmist said about his baby son, “he will not return to me, but I will go to (be with) him”. The hope of heaven is a truth to count on. We love you. II Timothy. Dwaine and Vivian (Heidner) Wall
