I am sorry to hear of Duane’s passing but his relatives will be rejoicing to see him again. Maybe he can visit with my brother Mike “Monk” Azure and all his old friends.

I am sending prayers to Duane’s family, relative’s for the loss of one of my very best friends growing up in the early years of our life in WP. Duane was a great guy and we were Foosball team tuff to beat in the early 70’s playing at Sweet Shoppe Cafe. This life on earth is a passing mist, like a wildflower. For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; it blossom’s falls and it’s beauty is destroyed. In the same way, we all fade away the same way, going about our daily business. Duane, God’s love will meet you in arms open full of Grace. Amen. Fred McGeshick, Jr.

I am sad to hear that Duane passed. He was my first “crush”. I always tell people that I loved the same guy from 6th grade to 9th grade. 🙂 And always had a special place in my heart for him thereafter . I remember him as a quiet yet strong person. His smile was beautiful. I imagine him now running and hunting again. My condolences to all his friends and family. Tana (Langager) Mayo

Tracie and family – I am so sorry to hear of Duane’s passing. I know he had been ill for quite some time but it’s hard even then to say goodbye to a loved one. He was always so quiet throughout high school (I am sure family and close friends would say otherwise!) and he had such a nice smile. My prayers are with you all.

I just found out about Duane’s passing and am so sorry to hear about this. Duane was my boyfriend back in the mid 1970’s. I have always carried fond memories of he and his family and was able to touch base with him through Facebook over the past year. I am no longer on Facebook so I guess that is how I missed this sad news. My sincerest sympathies to his entire family. He always held a special place in my heart.
