The memories of my auntie I will always cherish in my heart. She understood me when I was a young man growing up. And is one of my teachers in porcupine quill work. She encouraged me when I needed to be, she visited with me and shared good stories. I will miss her kindness that she offered when I visited her.
Prayers to my brother Jim and our families.
The Chelsea community of fort peck is grieving in this time of sorrow. As we get ready to return our beloved relative, to rest at Chelsea family grounds.

Jim and family, Lois, and family Iris and family. My sincerest condolences on the death of Elaine. She was a Native Woman of dignity, integrity and truthfulness. I so grateful for her tutoring, her laughter, her maternal love. There were so many times we shared time traveling to Fort Peck CC, Regina, various other errands. There is no doubt she has travelled over to the other side. I was just thinking today I should get over to see her and giver some squash. She loved oatmeal cookies. May the Creator send you loving friends and family to help your healing and may the love of the creator give you comfort, strength and healing. You are held in prayer.

I love this beautiful Winyan that Wakan Tankan creates to bless Unci Maka. I loved her since I was a little girl.i always admired her precious Spirit. She has the most gentle smile and precious and loving eyes. May our Creator bless Our Beautiful Elaine’s journey to the land of our Ancestors. Her Ina Josephine and her A’te James will certainly be happy to be with her once again, never to part. I loved visiting with her in her home. She shared her wonderful spirit with me and was very generous with her hugs and gifts. I saw her at the clinic and she wanted to visit with me in her home. So I went there, several times just to enjoy her lovely spirit. Her dog was sure scary, so she would come outside to protect me from his mean bark. I just cried when I heard this sad news of her passing. I send my deepest and most heart felt condolences to her dear son Jim and his Tiwahe. You will see your fabulous Model Of a Mother once again. Families Are Forever, I love you all, Auntie Patt ❤️

My heart is saddened as we lose another piece of our family. Such a beautiful service. I wish I would have known more people of the family, however living in California makes it hard to fully get to know everyone. My mother whom is 74 (Darlene Orencia Pretty Bear) is deeply saddend as she could not be at the funeral. We continue to send our love and prayers as cousin walks her new journey.

I was saddened to read of Elaine’s passing. I got to know her at Wednesday Night Ladies Bowling League. Elaine was a warm, wonderful human being. Through the years she became a lady that I always enjoyed seeing and speaking with. I remember her smile and laugh, God Bless all of her family.
