Lee was a wonderful woman. Doug and I remember her fondly as she was such a good friend to Doug’s mom, Dina and she would always stop in the midst of her shopping at Albertson’s to share her time with us. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My sweet, sweet Grandma, I miss you so much but it also makes me smile to know that you finally reunited with Grandpa on Valentine’s day.
Thank you for always taking good care of me and worring about my safety.
I will remember you as being one of the most thoughtful people I have known yet. Always thinking of others and never forgetting a holiday, birthday, or anniversary of anybody you cared for. I just got my anniversary card in the mail from you last week and I never got a chance to say, “thank you.”
I remember always asking you what you were going to do with your day and you would say the same thing, “I don’t know I haven’t got that far yet.” I liked that you seemed to live more in the moment, went with the flow and would say, “take it day by day.”
Just a few things I love about you and will miss so much but they were passed along and they are now apart of me too.
I love you Grandma,
Bobbi

I really am so blessed to have had such an amazing grandmother. She would always check the weather report every time I traveled and would cry while waving goodbye every time I visited home. She really was selfless and made my life such a better place. I would stay with her on the weekends, and she would always make my room so cozy by doing what I can only describe as a Relais and Chateaux turndown by fluffing the pillows, turning on the heating blanket and leaving a glass of water by my bed. And then a full breakfast, even though I would tell her I was not hungry but she insisted that I eat, because that was her. I could show up to her house any day or time and she made me feel like the center of the universe. I am happy she is in a better place with grandpa and no longer suffering. It is going to break my heart when that birthday card you sent Max shows up. Even in all your pain, you never forgot about us.

So sad to hear about dear sweet Lee’s passing. She was my mom’s very close neighbor and forever friend. She took care of me when mom was in the hospital having Brian. We always looked forward to seeing her when we came back to WP. She opened her home to us and it was so comfortable being there. She was an angel. Her and mom are together again…..having tea.
