Your family has my deepest sympathy. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Well, I was thinking of something to say to ease the tremendous pain that your family is suffering. So I compiled this list of Scriptures that is sure to bring you comfort in this difficult time: Psalms 55:22; Proverbs 3:5, 6; Isaiah 41:10; 2 Corinthians 1: 3-7; James 4:8; and Revelation 21:4. Be strong. Cherish the memories. May the peace of God be with your family always. And please remember to call upon His name found at Psalms 83:18.

My mom and “Maier” became life long friends while in nursing training. They corresponded for years, and whenever I traveled through Spokane, my mom would have me try to give her a call. Then, her number was no longer in service, and we had no idea how to contact her. We are so sorry for your loss, she was a very kind and special woman. May God Bless and comfort each of you.

We have several very dear memories of Aunt Dora. She came to Harlowton right after our daughter Anne was born and enjoyed the baby and our son Clint, who was a toddler. It was a special visit. She sent the kids an advent “wreath” of angels who hold the candles, which we still have. We visited her in Spokane Valley and had fun celebrating her birthday with Marlene & Lee Maurer. Anne was with us, so Dora got to enjoy her as an adult, too. Dora was deeply spiritual and devoted to her Catholic faith.
