Vincent Moran, Jr. age 56, passed away on February 7, 2017 at his home.
He was born on December 2, 1960 in Poplar, MT to Vincent Moran, Sr. and Madeline Moran of Fort Kipp, MT.
Vincent graduated from Brockton High School as Valedictorian in 1979. he later went on to Poplar Community College and graduated with an Associate of Arts in General Studies. Outside of school, Vincent worked with farms and ranches, seismology, carpentry, A & S Tribal Industries, pipeline construction and as a roustabout on the oil rigs.
In his younger days he enjoyed riding and messing with horses, alone or with family/friends. Occasionally he would have some of the local boys over to play basketball, they would always try to out do each other. Later years it was not uncommon to see him running the 4 mile square, which he enjoyed very much. He would often reminisce about hunting with family/friends, there was always a great story to be told and laugh to be shared. Over the year diabetes restricted his physical activity, he could no longer do the things he loved to do, so he would cruise the country, alone or with friends.
Vincent is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Dorothy and Alcide Moran and maternal grandparents Frank and Lavina Perry.
Vincent is survived by his parents Vincent Moran, Sr. and Madeline Moran; sisters Marilyn (Harold) Marottek, Joyce Simons, Lois Moran, and Valerie Moran; brother, Kermit Moran, Charlie Moran; daughter Leah Black Dog of Fort Kipp, MT and 4 grandchildren; aunties Vernita Buckles, Irene Wilkins, Leta Atkinson, Catherine Lloyd, Phyllis Williams and Margie Gustafson; uncles Clyde Perry, Adrian Perry and Victor Perry and extended families Four Bear, White Eagle,Young Bear, White Bear, First and from North Dakota the Morsette, Reed, Lockwood, Bruce, Drivers, Wounded Face and Hunts Along.

To the Moran family. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your son and brother Vince. He worked for us one summer, painting and helping out. He was a good man. He was quiet but once you got to know him, he was lots of fun. May his spirit soar.
