First That Walk Kid “Tokaheya He Mani Hoksida” or Antoine Quinten Reddogg was born on June 14th, 1994, a descendant of Chief Medicine Bear and Chief Black Moon, left this world to go home on February 22nd, 2024, at the age of 29.
He was born to Drew Alden Reddogg and Lynette June First. He had two siblings, a brother Dion Sean First, John Pretty Bear of Cannonball N.D., ND his sisters Taress Rion First and Aarianna Mazawasicuna His grandparents were Calvin First Sr. and Myrna Jean Redboy-Red Elk from Poplar MT., and Bruno Reddogg and Lavone Jones of Cannon Ball N.D.
Antoine graduated from Solen High School in N.D. in 2012. He grew up with his grandparents Calvin and Myrna and attended inipi and yuwipi ceremony throughout his life, His great-grandfather was Gerald Red Elk, and during his life he kept two pipes that belonged to the Lakota and Dakota Tribes that came to live on the Fort Peck Reservation. Upon his passing he gave these pipes to Antoine’s beloved grandfathers Leland Spotted Bird and Calvin. Antoine was given Calvin’s pipe at a ceremony held by Leonard Crow Dog at Calvin’s funeral. These pipes were kept by Gerald and belonged to the Sioux people.
Antoine worked for Fort Peck Tribes Community Services in Poplar, and he loved his boss and co-workers, Dave Genia and Tyson Bauer, he loved to visit and tease with them. He loved to watch his favorite shows, Vikings, Family Guy and sports and was a big sports fan. He loved the Washington Redskins/Commanders, his favorite team. He also loved the college football teams, the Miami Hurricanes and the Montana Grizzly. The University of North Caolina Tarheels men’s basketball team, whom he called his Heels, and he really disliked Duke Blue Devils. Also, the San Antonio Spurs and his favorite player Manu Ginobilli, whose jersey he wore until the numbers wore off.
Antoine loved to joke around and have fun, especially with his friends and his beloved cousins whom he teased daily. When he was a young kid, he got the nickname, “Caca Butt” and he eventually learned to love that nickname and if you called him that he would answer. Antoine also loved his animals, his dogs and cats, his latest cat he named her Cry Girl, whom he said, if something happened to him, everything would be given to Cry Girl.
He did want everyone listed to go by his nicknames since he was going to go by his nickname. He reunites with his grandparents, Calvin and Myrna First and Lavone Jones. His uncle whom he called his twin, Thomas “Tom A-Hock” and Anthony “Bubbz” Mazawasicuna, Keven “Junior” First, his uncle Chris “Baby” First, and numerous grandma’s and grandpa’s other cousins, uncles, aunties and close friends.
He is survived by his mother Lynnette (Emery) Lester, siblings Dion, John, Taress and Dooz, grandmothers Lindo Lou Red Elk, Doris Lambert, uncle Bear First, Vernon “Tuffy” First, Myron Spotted Bird, Gerrad Red Eagle, Raymond “Ray Ray” Burshia, Victor Fourtstar, and his aunties Ninette Hamilton, T.C. Hamilton, cousins Jacob, Josh, Dion, Kentrell, he loved you all, not going to list everyone, he knows he love you.
