Arden Rae Morales passed away peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of August 2nd, 2021.
Arden was born in Poplar MT September 11, 1945 to Norma Bear. She spent her childhood in Los Angeles California along with time in Newtown, ND. She met her husband in Billings MT where they were married August 2nd, 1965. They lived briefly in Hysham MT, where one of her favorite memories is of them driving to Custer on payday for ice cream. They then moved to the bay area in California where they had three of their seven children Rick, John, and Sarah. Later moving to Seattle WA where they had Diane, Becky, Sherri, and Jason. Arden was fortunate to have been able to be a stay-at-home mother during those early years with her children. She had always wanted a big family because being raised as an only child was lonely for her. It made her happy seeing her children have playmates when they were little, friends when they got older and knowing that they would always have each other. From there they moved to Chelsea MT where Arden worked at the Fort Peck head start program then to the Billings MT area. In Billings Arden worked at the Northern hotel and the Sheraton hotel. Later moving back to Chelsea Mt where she spent time as a farmer and rancher’s wife, raising her family, working at West Electronics and attended Fort Peck Community College. She eventually moved to Wolf Point MT where Arden raised two of her grandson’s Paul and Brett Morales making them her youngest children and getting her closer to the baker’s dozen she always wanted. She watched her children start families, watched her grandchildren grow up and was fortunate to be able to meet and spend time with her great grandchildren. Babies were a joy and she was always happy and excited to have a new one in the family. Including the newest great grandbabies, she was expecting this year. Arden worked hard to instill a love for our Lord Jesus and the power of prayer into her family. Arden loved music and dancing, while in recent years she hadn’t been able to dance her love of music was known by everyone. She listened to everything from her childhood favorites golden oldies to today’s top hits. Arden enjoyed reading and passed on her love of books, she could also always be found with word find puzzles. Some of her other favorite things included getting her nails done, visiting with family and friends, and driving. She will be missed dearly by all those that knew her.
Arden Morales is survived by her children Rick Morales of Chelsea MT, John Morales of Poplar MT, Diane Morales of Wolf Point MT, Becky Morales of Wolf Point MT, Sherri Morales of Wolf Point MT, Brett Morales of Wolf Point MT.
