Arlene Joyce Gomez

Arlene Joyce Follet Gomez, age 64, went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2009 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.

Arlene was born in Poplar, MT September 23, 1944 to Harry and Mildred Follet, Sr. She was raised and educated in Frazer, MT. Arlene met and married Trinidad Gomez in 1970 and was married for 33 years. Trinidad passed in May of 2007.

Arlene loved the Lord and taught her family to love him too. She loved to sing, hunt, fish, and spending time with her family.

Arlene is survived by her special friend, Mitchell Headdress of Wolf Point; her children Simon (Lisa) Follet, Ira Follet, Harris (Olivia) McConnell and Anona Pearl McConnell (Terry) all of Wolf Point; Arlene had fifteen grandkids, Joey, Clarissa, Marcus, Alex, Wade, Candace, Curtis, Karena, Evelyn Elaine Arlene, Harris Jr., Lacey Marie, Brent, Ira Jr. and Jerome; great-grandchildren Sierra Starletta Bear and Jasmine Dahlia Follet; brothers Elvis Follet and Tyrus (Fern) Follet and children; her sister Sadie (Dean) Blount of Frazer and her children; cousins Thelma and Clarice Follet; sister-in-law Donna Follet and her children; many nieces and nephews, and numerous grandchildren.

Arlene is preceded in death by parents Harry and Mildred Follet Sr., brothers Abel Follet Sr. and Harry Follet Jr., nephew Eric Follet and grandsons Sloan Follet and Charles Follet.

Family Service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point. Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery.
