Barbara Jean Matthews Milne passed away on October 27, 2023 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, Montana. Barb was born on September 29, 1945 to William and Jessie Morning Milne in Lewistown, Montana. Barb attended many schools throughout her years, graduating from Terry high school in 1964. She then went on to put herself through nursing school, graduating with her LPN license in 1966. Barb worked 5 years in Havre before moving to Wolf Point. She then worked at Trinity for 10 years and later worked for the Poplar Hospital for 30 years opening two pharmacies and retiring in 2010.
During her last year of college, she met Odis F. Matthews and married him that same year. Soon after, they welcomed their first daughter, Cindy. Not long after, they moved to Wolf Point where they made their forever home. A few years later, they welcomed their daughter, Kim. Barb loved being a wife, mother, and nurse, but above all, a grandma.
Barb loved spending time with her family and especially her great grandkids. Barb will be dearly missed by all those who loved her and all those who appreciated her work ethics.
Barb is survived by her husband, Odis, of 57 years; her daughter, Cindy (Rick) Neuleib of Sidney, Montana; daughter, Kim, of Poplar, Montana; grandkids, Amanda, Joyce (Adan), David, Ashley, Allen (Jaylee); and great grandkids, Ryder, Aspen, and Jacob.
Barb is preceded in death by her father, William Milne; her mother, Jessie (Milne) Handy; brother, Ron Milne; sisters, Bonnie Tomlinson, and Betty Carter; and her grandparents.

I worked with Barb for several years . She was a wealth of knowledge. If you needed to know something, just ask Barb! We loved to tease her , you knew you got to her if you got the ” stink eye “. Her family meant everything to her. She was quiet & humble but left her mark with those who were lucky to know or work with her. Barb you will be missed!
