Chauncey Franklin Whitright, III, was a true native warrior who fought not only for what he himself believed in but for all native Indian people all over the world. He fought along side other great native warriors. Starting with his mother, Myrna Jy Boyd, who was the leader of the Montana Chapter A.I.M. (American Indian Movement) and Russel Means, Hank Adams, and Buddy RedBow, and many, many, other great native warriors.
He accomplished so much through out his life and is and should always be remembered and honored for all the battles he had fought, organizations he helped start and was involved in, such as Walks for Society, A.I.M, and Humans rights for Indian People in the Third World Country.
There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do or any place he wouldn’t go to do whatever he had to for what he loved and believed in.
He was known as a force to be reckoned with a real modern warrior.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. A feed is tentatively scheduled to follow at the Wolf Point Arbor.
