Cory Ross Schindler passed away on April 23, 2022 at Poplar Community Hospital.
Cory was born in Wolf Point, Montana on October 24,1986. He was the son of Albert “Billy” Schindler and Mildred “Millie” First.
Cory Ross has been said to be a caring, friendly soul. Some may have said he was dealt a tough hand but he always met people with a simple wave, a big smile or a hug. He was always very respectful and could be found teasing or cracking jokes with his friends and family. Please remember his laugh…it was contagious! He enjoyed playing pool, hanging with friends and family and just being Cory Ross.
Cory is survived by brothers Aaron Ackerman of Frazer and Albert Schindler of Wolf Point, MT. Aunts Cecile Schindler of Wolf Point, Montana and Margaret Schindler currently residing in Plainview, Texas, Lynn Red Dog, Inez Dee First & Nanette Hamilton of Poplar, Thomasine Hamiton of New Mexico. Uncles Gerald (Misty Ann) “Jerry” Schindler of Wolf Point, Kevin (Vicky) Schindler of Poplar, Vernon “Tuffy” First, Calvin First Jr., Plus numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Cory is preceded in death by his father, Albert “Billy” Schindler, Mother, Mildred “ Millie” First, baby brother Anthony Kane, and special friend Kerri Comes Last. Also Preceding him are his maternal grandparents Reno & Gladys First, Paternal Grandparents William & Lillian Schindler, grandmother Ethelene White Hawk, Uncles- Wayne & Del First, Merval & Joseph Sherman, Eugene Hale, Curtis Schindler, Aunts- Sheri Demarrias, Myrna Finley and Sandy Schindler, and Dwight Green.
Cory Ross will be missed by all who knew him. Please excuse us if we have forgotten anyone at this time.

What a loss of a good soul… Corey was always respectful and helpful… If you asked him to help in anyway Corey never declined.. I can almost bet Lewis S . Was waiting for him them two boys were something else. Never a dull moment, laughing and laughing. Just about anything and everything.. I’m sure gonna miss Corey whenever I travel back home.
