Cynthia “Cindy” Firemoon-Bauer, 54, passed away at Riverstone health hospice home in Billings, MT on Wednesday September 25th, 2019 following a short but vigilant battle with cancer. Cindy was born in Gallop, NM on November 05th 1964. Her family moved to Chicago, IL where she would spend her early childhood growing up. She had many fond memories and stories about her time in Chicago that she cherished. In the mid 1970’s the family moved back to her father’s hometown of Frazer MT. She attended school in Frazer and then also went to Nashua and Brockton schools before she ended up going to Chemawa Indian School in Oregon. She made life long friends during her time at these schools. She married at a young age and two children were born to this union, Marvin Jr. and Cherish in 1983 & 1986 respectively. She married for a second time and was blessed with two more children Kira in 1988 and Tyrone in 1990. Cindy worked many years at A & S Industries and that is where is where she met Byron Bauer, whom she always considered her soul mate and love her of life. They married and made their home in Wolf Point, Mt. In later years after the closure of A & S she started working at Albertsons, where she enjoyed her job and co-workers tremendously. Cindy loved and enjoyed her family always making sure to remember birthdays and holidays. She was so proud of all her children and especially her grandchildren. Her and Byron enjoyed raising Nathan since he was a baby and later also took in his brother Xavier. Cindy always made sure she was a good friend and took care of family as best she could. She was extremely close to all of Byron’s sisters and brothers. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. She had a strong faith in Jesus and knew she would be reunited with Byron and her family that went before her.
