Donald Eugene Iceman, Jr “Donnie” went home to the happy hunting grounds on January 30, 2022 with his mother by his side. Donnie was born on April 14, 1960 in Red Lake, MN to Donald Iceman Sr. and Frances Youpee Iceman.
Donnie attended school in Red Lake. Later he moved to Poplar, MT where he made his home until his passing. He met Evelyn Connie Bear. Together they had their baby son, Donald E. Iceman III aka “Sonny Boy” in 1985. He then met Carman Eagle Boy a few years later and together they have their baby son, Choaya “CJ” Eagle Boy, born in 1987. His sons were introduced to each other a little later in life, but since then both sons became close, now they have that brotherly bond that brings them here with their Pops.
Donnie had many jobs. He enjoyed working at A&S Industries, also he was a proud man to represent the Fort Peck Firefighting crew and was a firefighter for many years, where he became Squad Boss. He received his Certificate as a sawyer, he also worked as a Seismographer. Donnie loved fixing and thinking. He’s the real “MacGyver” and quite the handyman.
He listened to all kinds of music, including pow wow and round dance music. He loved and enjoyed caring for his mother, nephews, sons and grandchildren. Especially his pride and joy, Riley Loegering Jr. One of the proudest times of his life was when his son Donald “Sonny Boy” went to state in basketball as a Brockton Warrior 3 times in a row and returning with the State title in 2004.
