Cathy Wetten says
I am so very sorry for such a tragic loss especially in someone so young and full of life. I have suffered losses also and wanted to share a couple of scriptures that have brought me a measure of comfort each time. Job 14:14,15 talks about a man dying and yet God yearning to bring him back to life again. My favorite though is found st John chapter 11. It is the account of a Jesus resurrecting Lazarus. What is especially touching is that even though Jesus knew what he was about to do, at seeing the deep pain and sorrow of the poeple around him, it says he wept. Both accounts show us how deeply Jesus and his Father feel our pain. But also how much they want to bring back to life our dead loved ones. So may “the God of all comfort” wrap loving arms around you at this time while we all await that glorious day when we can welcome back our loved ones in that resurrection. Cathy Wetten. jw.org
