Gina Maria Mann Mayer with her children, sisters, and nephew by her bedside, went to be with the Lord on the early morning of June 7, 2021 at the Billings Clinic due to health conditions she had been battling.
Gina was born November 25, 1970, to Clarence and Carol (Irwin) Mann, in Wolf Point, MT. She grew up in the Wolf Point area where she attended elementary and high school and graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1989. She also attended Dickinson State University.
Gina was a member of the Prairie Chicken Clan and enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes. She was outgoing and a hard worker she was one of a kind. She was a devoted mom, raising her two children as a single mom and always making sure her family was provided for. She loved to cook, always going above and beyond making the most extravagant meals. She loved the fact that she now held grandma status. Even though she could only see pictures of her granddaughter as she grew, she still held her in her heart, with the hope that she would one day hold her granddaughter in her arms and have that special bond with her.
Gina had 2 beloved cats that she loved for many years, Mahdahgeesha and Shenzi. They were so important to her. When she would travel, she always made sure the cats came everywhere with her and her children. The motels had to be “pet friendly” she cherished them and they’re going to miss her immensely.
She held many jobs throughout the years including Ronan, Mt Wellness Center, 4 Bears Casino & Lodge, Farm Service Agency/USDA, Fort Berthold Housing Authority, West Electronics, Silverwolf Casino and her parent’s business Mann Trucking; where she learned Bookkeeping and secretarial duties. This was definitely her most memorable job working alongside her mom and dad.
On June 29, 1999 Gina was united in marriage to Richard Mayer, they resided in New Town, N.D and were blessed with three beautiful children, Baby Boy Mayer, Chaselynn, and Steven who were her pride and joy. She called them her miracle babies. She felt blessed because the doctors told her she may possibly never be able to have children. Gina and Richard were later divorced.
She will always be remembered as a loving mother. And a caring friend with a generous heart, and a great sense of humor. She also had a special bound with each one of her nephews and nieces, her relationship with them was more like a big sister.
Gina will be remembered and missed by many. Grateful to have shared her life are her children, Chaselynn Mayer of Wolf Point, MT, and Steven Mayer of New Town, N.D.; granddaughter, Iceland Mayer; sisters, Deb’e Chase Bell, Kelly (Asa) Driftwood of Wolf Point, Mt, Alison Mann Jackson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tammy (James) Lawson of Tampa, FL., and Joy Mann of New Town, N.D.; adopted sister, Deborah King ( Chuck) Wells of New Town, N.D.; brother, Sheldon Mann, of Eagle Butte, S.D.; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Carol (Irwin) Mann; son, Baby Boy Mayer; brothers, Mike Mann, David Mann, Donald (Boy) Mann, and Justin Mann; sister, Iva Mann; nephews, Mike Bell and Jory Black Eagle; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Lydia (Pfeifer) Mann; maternal grandparents, Francis Irwin, Kenneth Blacktail and Flora (Wells) Blacktail; and many other extended family members.
If we forgot to mention anyone we apologize, she loved you all.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away.”

Gina was a unique soul… I lived with her and Alison , with Carol and Clarence for a short time while I was friends with Alison. This family of all sisters (after Mike passed) was a very close family I had the privilege to be a part of. I’ll never forget that time of my life being a part of this huge loving family. Gina was the youngest and I swear the tallest and most brutally honest. She wasn’t fake she was real like her big sister Debbie, I admired them the most. I haven’t known anything about her since 1988 when I left the Reservation but I always knew she would be most like Debbie and Kelly and be the best mom to her future kids. I’m so sorry for their loss of an amazing mother and best friend as I’m sure she was to them. Gina will be missed immensely by so many. Even though I haven’t even talked to her in over 30 years and she prolly didn’t like me as much as I liked her, this news really affected me when I heard it. She was a good person, this world lost a lot but heaven gained the day she left. REST IN SWEET PARADISE GORGEOUS GINA🙏🏻❤️
