His other twin daughter, Natalie Rose Alexander, and a nephew, Ryan Russell Alexander, died in childhood. He is survived by his grandmother, Myrna Greufe, his mother, Suzanne (Courtney) Smith, his twin brother, Orin, brother, Ryan, and sister, Rose Lynn Clevenger (TJ), nieces Shontel Shaw, Adreanna Alexander, Grace and Sandra Clevenger, Chelsea and Tina Belle Alexander, and nephew Isaiah Alexander. James had a strong – if slightly devious – sense of humor. He was generous and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed creating Native American arts. He will be missed.
Services will include a visitation Monday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. and a funeral on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. the Poplar Assembly of God church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made at a local food bank or RiverStone Health Hospice, Billings, Montana. James’ family would also be blessed if mourners fed a meal to a homeless person.
