Jeanine DeCoteau passed away on December 27, 2019, she was 59. Jeanine was born on March 6, 1960 to the late Elizabeth and Elmer DeCoteau in Poplar, MT.
She went to school in Poplar, Brockton, Upward bound, she was a CNA along with many other things. She enjoyed baking, sewing, Bingo with friends, spending time with family and her grand babies, also drawing.
She is survived by her children David Muskrat, Timothy DeCoteau, Joseph Douglas (JD), also an adopted son Michael McClammy; her brothers, Elmer (Kristi) DeCoteau, Lester (Crystal) DeCoteau, Jim (Nadine) DeCoteau, Charles DeCoteau; her sisters Eliza (Richard) Young, Birdie DeCoteau-Hawk and Jane DeCoteau; her grandchildren Chelsea LaVay, Davie Muskrat, Tiana Fourbear, Tileeya DeCoteau, Toyawnna DeCoteau, Spencer DeCoteau, Duane BlackDog, Delya Douglas, Darren Douglas, Dylan Douglas, Shyla Douglas and her great grandchildren Ethan LeVay, Liliana LeVay, Bryson Fourbear, Eavie Fourbear.
Jeanine is preceded in death by her mother and father Elizabeth and Elmer DeCoteau; sister Francine DeCoteau; brothers Lonnie, Emerson DeCoteau; aunts Hazel (Harry) Three Star, Birdie Lester; uncle, Clayton Lester; and two children, Erin DeCoteau and Jeffrey Douglas aka Nooners; adopted siters Emily Cantrell and Phoebe Owens.
A Family service will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Lindsey Presbyterian Church in Poplar. Cremation will follow. Condolences for the family may be left at www.claytonstevensonchapel.com. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
