Jessica Rose Failing was born on June 14th, 1993 to Gerald Alan Failing and Dena Amelia Duncan in Yakima, Washington. She joined her big brother Jared and big sister Jade.
Jessica returned to Poplar with her family as a baby. She resided between Poplar and Wolf Point with a brief stay in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Jessica’s marriage to Terrill Berger brought three children into this world, Priseis Rose’Jerald, Laucus Jax and Amelia Elizabeth. Some time after their divorce, Jessica met Duane Good Track. They later married and to this union, Ezekiel Geremiah was born.
Tragically, on the evening of June 6th, 2022 Jessica’s life ended. She left behind many family members that loved her beyond measure. Jessica is survived by her father Jerry (Jen), brother Jared Raymond (Brittany), nephews Mickey Wayne (12) and Grayson Oliver (7), Sister Jade Anthony(Daniel), niece Jeina Jaemz (13) and nephew Duncan Alan Lee (3). Her children: Priseis Rose’Jerald (12), Laucus Jax (9), Amelia Elizabeth (8) and Ezekial Geremiah (3). Maternal Grandmother, Doris McKay. Uncles: Marvin Failing, Carl Failing, Anthony Duncan. Aunties: Rose Marie Atkinson, Allison Harrison, Haleena Lones Arrow, Mikel Bruner, Ke’Anna Bruner. Cousins: Martha, Michael, Marlene, Brandon, Chad, Quentin, DJ, Paul, Wyatt, Klane, Ashley’Ann, Austin, Trey, Damon, Vanesssa, Dena, Heaven, Darin, Jace, Mailey, Paisley, Anthony Jr., Nicole, Jimmy John, Payton. And many more cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special cousins Jessica considered siblings were Phoenix Rose, Joshua Paul and Isaac Michael Anthony. Jessica loved Gavyn Buddy as her own. Jessica also treasured her long standing friendship and sisterhood with Ashley Brock very dearly. Jessica was preceded in death by her mother Dena, Grandma Mickey and Grandpa Wayne Failing, and Uncle Mervin Failing.
People who knew Dena, Jessica’s mother, would describe her as a beautiful soul, with laughter and a smile that could light up a room. If you knew Jessica, you know these to be true for her also. You may even have memories of her laughing so hard, she’d have tears in her eyes, because she always enjoyed a good laugh.
Although Jessica had internal battles since she was young, losing her mother at the age of 7, this didn’t ever hinder her ability to shed love into the world. There’s nowhere this was more apparent than her love with babies. She’d care for and adore her baby dolls with such a mature motherly love since she was little. This love constantly grew with nieces and nephews, and especially when she began having children of her own. She poured her heart and soul into her children and family, because they meant the world to her. If you were a friend of hers, you were treated just the same.
Jessica left an inspirational passion for her children and family for us all to remember her by. Especially for her devotion to attending or planning family gatherings. If you have memories of her rubbing your back, running her fingers through your hair, or embracing you with a hug, let those wash over you in times of pain. Because that is who she was and always wanted everyone to feel special and loved.

Sweet precious Jessica she was a beautiful young lady.
I know there are no words to comfort and i don’t know what to say to truly comfort another whose beloved has left this world.
I hope you find your way through the heartbreak.
In my experience with death the only thing that helped was apostolic stewardship and a spiritual life coach and God’s grace.
My prayers are with all who loved Jessica Rose. That you will reach out to God for comfort.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, family. I remember her from Pines Youth Camp and do remember her as a beautiful young woman with a big smile. She won a lantern from one of our birthday parties a few weeks ago and was so happy about it. I know the angels lit her way into Heaven and walked her there. May you be comforted in those memories of her and know she is home with the Lord
