Kenny “Malibu” Heathman, age 53 of Wolf Point, Montana, passed away following a massive stroke on March 28, 2022, in Billings, Montana. Kenny and the Shields family are members of the Bad Temper Bear Clan. He is survived by his loving mother, Roseanne Shields of Wolf Point, MT, his daughter Melissa Hoffman and two grandchildren, his brother Michael Heathman (Lisa) nephew Jeffrey, and niece Cassandra Rose, all of Reno, Nevada.
Kenny was born in Reno, Nevada on July 3, 1968. Kenny spent most of his early years in Reno, but also lived in Las Vegas, NV, Atlantic City, NJ and Fairbanks, AK. As a young man, he fell in love with figure skating, becoming a very accomplished skater due to his dedication and love of the sport. Kenny had a wonderful sense of humor, and people were drawn to him. He found humor in everything he did, and he was always surrounded by friends and laughter. Kenny loved to socialize, dance and spend time with friends and family, often being the “life of the party”. While living in Reno, he worked as a Black Jack dealer and also later as a Reservation Supervisor for Hilton Hotels.
In 1998, Kenny and his mother Roseanne moved to Wolf Point, MT where he was reconnected with his large, loving, extended family. Over the years, he attended Fort Peck Community College as well as Rocky Mountain College. Kenny went to work for the Office of Environmental Protection in Poplar, MT before finally taking a job that he really enjoyed with the Fort Peck Tribes in the Enrollment Office.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father Ron Heathman, his uncles Tom Heathman, Caleb Shields and Kenny Azure, Sr., his aunts Joy Shields, June Stafne and Shirley Redstone, and his cousins Antoinette Shields, Kenny Azure Jr., Patrick Clements, Larry Connor, and Tom Stafne.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left using the form below.

My condolences to Rosie and families. We had lots of laughs together, certainly never a dull moment! One thing I loved about Kenny was he was a good worker. He was so good to people and knew the tribes software for enrollment. I know he was missed when he left. His sense of humor was sometimes insane! LOL. I love you Kenny and will miss you.
