Lance Wade Adams, Sr., Eagle Spirit (Wambdi Wanahgi Hoksina) age 34, of Poplar, MT was called back home on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Poplar Hospital.
Lance was born on April 22, 1987 in Williston, ND to Edith Adams. He attended and graduated from Brockton schools. During school he enjoyed playing basketball, golf and football. After graduating from high school Lance attended college at the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ. He also attended Fort Peck Community College in Poplar, MT. While attending FPCC he played basketball for the Buffalo Chasers.
In between attending college, Lance worked at the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero, NM, Fort Peck Tribes Buffalo Ranch, also Fort Peck Tribes IRR, Tribal Express, MADeAtly Road Construction, SK Road Construction, and the Sugar Beets in Sidney, MT.
Lance enjoyed cruising around, listening to music, playing Scrabble, whist, 10,000 Aces, dominos, PS4 and mostly he enjoyed laughing and joking with friends and family.
Lance is survived by his mother Edith Adams; brother Jerome (Cher) Coughlin; sister Loretta Mae (Jewell) Adams; children Eva Mona Adams, Lacie Grace Adams, Lance Wade Adams, Jr., Lyric Jade Adams and Clarence Levi Adams of Rosebud, SD; uncle Buddy (Carrie) Adams, aunts Clarice (Clyde) Perry and Claudia Adams; numerous and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, including relatives in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana and Canada. (If anyone was not mentioned, we are sincerely sorry).
He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother Clarence and Loretta Adams; uncles Leo Walking Eagle, Kipp White Cloud and Buffy Shanta; aunts Linda Lethbridge, Leona Adams, Loretta Helen Adams and Sandra Shanta; cousins Anthony FourStar, Jr., Kevin Walking Eagle, Doretta Mae White Cloud, Melissa Walking Eagle and Clarence Wayne Walking Eagle; and his best friend Noble Drags Wolf.
