Logan Wade Strauser entered the spirit world on Friday, September 23, 2022. He was born on October 23, 1998, in Sidney, Montana, to Lisa Strauser. He lived with his grandma Monica LaRoque for a brief time in Poplar, MT, before moving to Billings with his parents Lisa and Terrance Adams. He attended school from elementary through high school in Billings. He graduated from Skyview High School in 2017.
Logan was not only just his mom’s best friend. He was, and always will be, the light and love of her life. He could always bring his mom out of a bad mood, even when they disagreed about things. He was his mom’s protector and voice of reason. Logan’s smile and crazy sense of humor was contagious. He recently started doing stand-up comedy. He won the crowd over and was asked for return performances. Logan was a gamer from a young age. There wasn’t a game he couldn’t master. He was quite intelligent, especially when it came to technology and accounting. While at Skyview High School, he competed in the H & R Block Accounting Contest. Competing against high schools across the U.S., his team placed in the top five in the nation. Being athletic, he participated in several sports throughout his lifetime, including cross country, football, basketball, track, and baseball.
His dad Terrance had a special place in his heart. Logan knew his dad would do whatever it took to provide him with whatever he needed or wanted. Logan knew he could depend on his dad for help, advice, and support, no matter what. The matriarch in his life was his grandma Monica LaRoque. While being raised by her, Logan learned manners and how to be respectful of others. Logan and his grandma had a close bond. He had a special love for his grandma and thought about her often. Grandma Monica will miss his personality, politeness, friendliness, willingness to help, and the love he held in his heart for his sisters Cora and Cali and brother Lance.
Logan loved his cousins Dakota, Jaki, and Joslynn, as if they were his own siblings. Logan spent many summers in Wolf Point with Dakota and Jaki. He enjoyed doing things with them. They went to church every Sunday, attended vacation bible school, rode on the D.A.R.E. float in the annual stampede parade, and got into whatever mischief they could find. He went to powwows with Jaki. He was a grass dancer, she was a jingle dress dancer. They danced Kahomani every chance they got. He especially loved spending time with his adopted grandma Myrle. He always made her laugh. She spoiled him as much as all her other grandchildren. Logan’s relationship with Joslynn was unique. He had a deep concern for her wellbeing. Logan spoke many times of how proud he was of her strength while facing daily challenges in her life.
Ever since elementary school, Logan, Peyton, Mitch, and Markell were the best of friends. They considered themselves brothers. How it started is unclear…they called themselves “the squad.” They did everything together. They loved being in the outdoors, especially snowboarding. Their wild adventures included rafting, camping, going to the shooting range, road tripping and going out with their friends. Through good times or bad, they were always there for one another.
Logan is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Ray K. Eder, Alona Bighorn, Elsie King, Eunice Half Red, Edith Grey Bull, Reuben Feather Earring, William Strauser, Sr., and Margaret Hamilton; grandparents Roger Strauser, Byron, Bryon, T.J., and Ronald Bauer, Eliza Lambert, William Strauser, Jr., Glen Strauser, Eric Red Bull, and Connie Young; special grandma Myrle Harada; aunts Leah and Monique Strauser; and cousins Marques Strauser and Anthony Baker.

Logan was a descendant of Chiefs Feather Earring, Black Duck, and Iron Ring. Please forgive us during this difficult time. If we forgot to mention anyone, it was not our intention.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all ❤️ Logan was such a charismatic and genuine person. He just always had a way about him that would turn the worst days into the best ones and bring a huge smile to my face. He wasn’t afraid of anything either… Whether that was talking to cute girls at the bar, taking on a new job, or extreme downhill skiing; he just went for it. He was one of my first, and best friends when I moved to billings back in 2018 and we shared some very great times together. I will miss him more than words can describe and I’m so thankful I had the pleasure of calling him my brother from another mother. This world could use more people like Logan and it just won’t be the same without him.
