Lydania “Dena” Hagadone (Pipe), passed away March 5th, 2024, at 54 years old, in Billings, MT surrounded by her family.
Lydania was born on January 16th, 1970, in Poplar Montana to Kathleen “Tiny” Ricker and Richard “Dickie” Pipe.
Lydania attended school in Poplar, MT, graduating in 1988. She attended college in Durango Colorado for 2 years before returning home. Lydania loved helping people, and this led her to career as a nursing assistant. She worked for IHS tribal health for many years before transitioning to work as a nursing assistant at Riverside Family Clinic.
In July of 1991, she had her son Theron. Later that year, Lydania met her husband, Dwayne, and they were married on March 31st, 1995, in Poplar, MT. Through this union they had one daughter, Shawna. In 2012, they started raising their niece Brittany Whiteman who became their second daughter. Later, they joyfully started to raise their two granddaughters, Shaydin and Glendalyn.
Lydania loved to be outdoors, fishing, taking care of her flower gardens or just soaking up the sunshine while watching her grandchildren play. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing in her kitchen with her husband or her granddaughters. Lydania loved the beach and was at peace whenever she was near the ocean. Her smile was contagious, and her laugh could fill the room. She had the biggest heart which was felt by all who came across her path, so much so that her last wish was to donate her organs to someone in need.
Lydania is survived by her husband Dwayne, son Theron, daughter Shawna (Tristen) Belgarde, daughter Brittany Whiteman, granddaughters Shaydin and Glendalyn Hagadone, grandson Elijah Chopper, sister Stacy Pipe, nieces Taime Lanchbury, Kira, Kim, and Cassandra Hegg, and nephew Alex Malmstrom. Aunts Patsy Two Bulls, Debby Walking Eagle and uncle Donald Walking Eagle JR. Close family/friends Jackie P. Deepest Condolences to the family and friends of Lydania’s. She was a former student and advisee when she attended FPCC. She was a very good student, not just academically but in her attitude toward others and her ethics. She was always positive and her smile was infectious. You felt her love for life and compassion. Her anger was reserved for injustice and cruelty. May you be comforted by the sure knowledge of her embrace by the Creator and those who have gone before her and her living in your heart through her enduring love. Lifting all up in prayer.
