Mary Red Eagle passed away on March 22, 2023 in Billings, MT. Mary was born to Richard and Rose (Crow Ghost) Ricker on December 21, 1946.
Mary attended school in Poplar and at Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota.
Mary worked at Spotted Bull Treatment Center for a short time and various other jobs. She met Frank Red Eagle, Sr. and they later got married.
Mary is survived by son Tyrone (Debra) Ricker and daughter Lori Red Eagle of Poplar and son Ira Ricker of Wolf Point, her brothers-in-law Vern Red Eagle, Robert Red Eagle, Lawrence “Hoss” Red Eagle and sisters-in-law Pauline Boxer and Rose Longee all of Poplar, she is also survived by cousins Tony Boxer, Jr., Artie Boxer of Poplar and Sherman Boxer of Denver, CO and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Frank Red Eagle, Sr, son Frank Red Eagle III, brothers Gene Ricker, Orville Ricker, Virgil Ricker and Donnie Ricker, sisters Lois Ann Ferguson, Phyllis Castro and Joyce Ricker, nephew Jake White Bull, nieces Sandra White Bull, Rose Ferguson and Jeri Ferguson, brothers-in-law Elmer Red Eagle, Sr., Dale Red Eagle, Curtis Red Eagle, Sr. and Timothy Red Eagle, Sr.
