Misty Dawn Iron Leggins stepped over to the other side, to be greeted by her relatives, who passed on before her. Misty was born on November 10, 1976 to Jsames and Clarice Iron Leggins in Poplar, Montana.
Misty’s parents passed on when she was really young, therefore, her aunt and uncle Phillip and Pauline Granbois raised her. Misty attended Poplar Schools and graduated with the class of 1996.
She grew up with her close friends that she called sisters, Bernia Youpee Jordan, Vernice Chiopper, Racquel WhiteHawk, the Dupree girls, Shyann, Billie Rae, Raylene, and Angel Scott.awk
Misty attended FPCC and was employed at Nancy’s Housekeeping. Misty married Joseph Savior, Sr. on July 7, 2007. They later divorced.
Misty leaves her children, Gage Iron Leggins, Joseph Savior, Jr., Precious Savior, Cherish Savior, Mystical iron Leggins, and Stormy Medicine Elk; her grandchildren, Adrian, Royal, and Abel; her brothers, Mike Longtree, and Charles Longtree; her aunts, Pauline Granbois, Tara Langtree, Margaret Olson, Jana Moore, Lynnette Long Hair, Joyce Martell, LaVerne Loves Him, Margaret Hapa, Yvette WhiteHawk, Julia Young, and Anne Lester; her uncles, Clarence Longtree, Jr., Raymond Cloke, Robert Daniels, Sr., and Edgar Jones. Misty called her cousins, whom lived with her, “her misfits”, Clarice Longtree, Resa Longtree, and Derris Longtree; other cousins, Phillip Granbois, Meredith Granbois, Chris Longtree, Christina Longtree, Clarence Longtree, III, Janet Izzirary, Lorie Martell, Clinton Longtree, Traci Longtree, Vanessa Longtree, Jennifer Longtree, Deanne IronRing, Thomas Youngman, Jr., Resa Longtree, Randy Firemoon, jr., Andrew Firemoon, Derris Longtree, Carter Longtree, Darwin Longtree, Clarice Longtree, Allen Russell, sr., Kenda Martell, Timilyn Russell, and Dennis Russell.
Misty joins her parents, James and Clarice Iron Leggins; sister, Claren Longtree; grandparents, Clarence and Alice Longtree, and Lumyna Cloke; aunts, Ella Ressell, Florence Russell, Maria Youngman, and Rebecca Loves Him; uncles, Robert Longtree, sr., Stanley Longtree, Kevin Longtree, Dennis Longtree, and John Muskrat; cousisn, Clifford Granbois, sr., Robert Longtree, Jr., Olivia Longtree, Stephan ie Rollins, Mahogany Youngman, Terry Olson, Teresa Olson, Allison Russell, Emma Buckles, Joey Russell, Phillip Russell, Callen Cloke, Kyleen BullChief, Brad BullChief, and Allen Russell, Jr.
A Rosary will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery.
