OMG! I was reading the obituaries to keep in contact with my roots. I live in Helena and go back often to wolf point. Mitch was one of the most kindest people. I first met him in high school. Back in that day , for some reason, probably because we both thought we were tough. LOL if we only knew what we know now. But that is how i met mitch. IN a dang fight. IT was years later i saw him again at the elks. I went over to say hi and we hit it off. we sat and and talked for a long time. Laughing, teasing each other on them earlier days. He was respectful, a force to be dealt with for sure. We earned each others respect and it was such a great feeling. I almost always ran into him and we would share a laugh and smile. I am still in shock. We werent really close but he was someone whom i respected. He earned it. He was a tremendous person whom i will never forget in my life.
