Paris Loretta Chopper, age 30 of the Spirit Lake Tribe of ND went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 30, 2021 in Poplar, MT.
Paris was born on April 2, 1991 to Abraham “Bear” Chopper, Jr. and Althea “Sona” Longie but raised by her grandparents, Lorene and Douglas Michel.
On June 23, 2013, Paris was blessed with a son, Zayden Michel Abraham Chopper, who she lovingly called her “big baby”. She attended school in Devils Lake, ND, Sioux Falls, SD and ended her sophomore year in Parkston, SD.
Paris held various jobs including Cavendish, McDonald’s, Taco John’s, Taco Bell, Subway and Goodwill in Jamestown, ND and Don’s Carwash in Fargo, ND. She loved going for walks and spending time with friends and family. She always had a big smile on her face and had us laughing just because she was such a goofball.
Paris is survived by her parents, Abraham “Bear” Chopper, Jr of Poplar, MT and Althea “Sona” Longie of Fort Totten, ND; her son Zayden Chopper of Poplar, MT; her grandmother Lorene Michel, who she called “Mom” of Poplar, MT; her brothers Dominique Buckles of Ft. Kipp, MT, Skylar Chopper of Devils Lake, ND, Xander and Xavier Porras of Devils Lake, ND, and Gavin Little of Fort Totten, ND; her sisters Diamond Chopper of Fargo, ND and Abrielle Chopper of Fort Totten, ND; special aunts Jolene (Cowboy) Chopper-Jones and Wendy Chopper both of Poplar, MT; aunts Althea Deserly and Tiffany Chopper both of Wolf Point, MT, Nicolle (Maurice) Big Horn of Brockton, MT, Shalane and Ann Chopper both of Fort Kipp, MT, and Vernice Chopper of Poplar, MT; special uncles Joseph (Sara) Dunn of Jamestown, ND and Louis (Tamara) Dunn of Fargo, ND; uncles Freed Longie, Jr. and Wilder Christenson both of Fort Totten, ND and Delano Longtree of Poplar, MT; special cousin Benjamin Chopper of Bismarck, ND and Royce LaVallie of Fargo, ND; cousins Keith Wright, Jr., Johnna Abrahamson, Sami Jo, Ashton and Austin Cloud, Colby Chopper, Payton Chopper, Raymond Dunn, Sadie Dunn, John and Taylor Dunn; grandparents Patti Christenson and Alfred (Delphine) Longie all of Fort Totten, ND, Vernon (Donna) Chopper of Ravinia, SD, Melvin Good Soldier, Sr. and Clifford Jerome both of Poplar, MT, Celeste Herman, Roger Yankton, Clarice Lawrence, Valerie Bull, Quentin Yankton, Paulette Lenoir, James Yankton, Jr., Jackie Yankton, Andrea Iron Shield all of Spirit Lake, ND; special friends Breanna Larson and Alexis Cruz of Jamestown, ND and Sarah Bachmeier of Fargo, ND; other surviving families include the Necklaces, Spotted Birds, Bears, Youpees, Black Birds and many more too numerous to mention.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Douglas Michel and Abraham Chopper, Sr.; Joseph Jr., Clifford and Charles Good Soldier; grandmother Charlotte Good Soldier and great grandparents Joseph Good Soldier, Sr. and Coretta and James Yankton, Sr.; cousins Jerome Dunn and Heaven Longie.
Paris will be missed by the many hearts she has touched in her young life. Rest easy, Pincee, until we meet again…

Paris wasn’t mine but she was pretty close fit right in with her brothers n sister every time she’s show up at the house after goin M.I.A with a big ol smile she’d come flying in the door yellin “Mudder ur fav child is home Mudder!” N she’d give me a hug or if I was Layin down come running n jump on me n say to get up let’s Skoden get up geez Mudder we got sun crusin to do!!
