Randy Red Elk passed away March 13th 2021 in Poplar MT at the family home. He fought throughout life with various health concerns but lived his life without complaint.
Randy Leon Red Elk was born June 6th, 1991 to Bonnie Marie Clincher Red Elk and Herman Albert Red Elk III, in Sidney MT . He was welcomed by siblings Clifford Country, Charley and Vern Red Elk.
Randy attended Poplar Schools. He took a liking to the drum and had his own drum set, playing in a band with fellow classmates. Randy graduated May 2009. He also attended FPCC, obtaining his associates degree by May 2014. Randy worked in various fields, most recently Fort Peck Tech as a welder.
Randy enjoyed attending powwows and listening to various drum groups. He liked to hangout with family and his brothers, especially his bros. Randy formed various bonds throughout his lifetime from childhood and career. Never forget the memories and the time he shared with you as you all meant a lot to him.
In September 2015, Randy welcomed the love of his life, Hazel Marie Red Elk into the world. They had a special bond and were always together hanging tough and doing dad and daughter things. Hazel, you meant the world to your daddy. He loved you more than we could ever tell you.
Randy is survived by daughter Hazel Marie Red Elk. Siblings Charley(Lee) Snell of Glasgow and Vern Red Elk of Poplar, MT. and Holly Red Elk of New York. Grandmother Roberta “Bobbi” Clincher, Laurel Aunts Marian(Bruce) Montclair, Poplar MT, Ilona Jo Mathews, Annabelle Weston, Pocupine SD, Barbara Beach Salinda, Laurel MT. Valerie Schurz, Arizona, Kim Adams, Ohio and Uncles Stephen Clincher, Poplar MT, Marlon Red Elk, Arizona, Barry Beach and Bradley Beach. Cousins Jo’e Youngman, Robin Youngman and Kristofer(Amanda) Boyd, Poplar MT. Marise Headdress, Laurel MT, Ronetta Clincher, Decklan Clincher, Laurel MT and Verle(Aleih) Clincher, Kentucky, Louis, Silas, and John Montclair, Poplar MT, Leeann, Lisa and Vikki Perry and family of Poplar MT. Ashly’ann(Oliver) Payne, Wolf Point and Christian(Des) Clincher, Poplar MT. and Sydney Salinda, California. Adopted Brothers Micheal Crowe, Marcus Red Thunder, Kasch Bourbeau, Jr. TallWhiteman, Louis, Silas and John and the late Thomas Montclair and Robin Youngman. Adopted sister Carly Sioux Clincher, Also his special adopted mom, Dolly Crowe, affectionately called “Ma Dukes.”

Aunts Kathy Red Elk Cloud Boy and Sandra Red Elk. Sister Josephine Youngman Cousin Thomas Montclair and Jeremiah Schurz. Paternal Grandparent Herman Red Elk Jr. Maternal Grandparents Mercy Macdonald and Silas Clincher and also Grandmother Lenore Red Elk.
