Robert Albert Montclair, III “Lil Guy”, moved on to his next journey on January 22, 2024 in Billings, Montana with his family by his side. Robert was born on June 4, 1977 in Billings, Montana to Naomi J. Montclair and Robert Montclair, Jr.
Little guy was the 7th of 10 kids born to Naomi. He would always say proudly that he was the only one with a big sister and a little sister. Little guy had his own special bond with each and every sibling, especially his should-have-been twin sister, Melissa. Robert graduated from Flandreau High School in 1996. After Robert graduated, he enlisted into the Marine Corps in 1997. On Valentine’s Day of 1998, he met the love of his life, Jennifer Haugen, whom he was with until his passing. They had 7 children together. Little guy enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and siblings. Little guy loved to collect anything that caught his eye, things such as rings, rocks, miniature anything, toys, and of course, his baby Yoda. Little guy enjoyed playing basketball and soccer with his sister Melissa and playing cards with his siblings. Little guys heart was as big as his appetite, he gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it, unless it was the last piece of cake, then it was a fight!
Robert is survived by his mother, Naomi Montclair; wife, Jennifer Haugen; 5 sons, Travis, Bobby, Hunter, Cruise, and Payton; his one daughter, Selena; sisters, Lulla, Melissa (Dave), Heather, and adopted sister, Lelani Reddog; brothers, Curtis, Conrad, and 2 half-brothers, George and Ezra Montclair; nephews, Orlando, David, DeJay, Wyatt, Tanner, BenJamin, Trint, Bently, Ashtyn, Conrad, Brandon, Curtis, Collin, Bill, Avery, Little Willie, Wesley, Mikey, and Richard; nieces, Myah, Chelsee, Justice, Lakota, Kayla, Nevaeh, Syna, Lillian, Jessica, Whitney, Shaine, and Labrea; grandkids, Destin “Linda”, Trina, Kaydence, Winter, Effie, Weston, Brody, Casimir, Ambrose, Braxton, and twins, Aiden and Keirra Hernandez; cousins, Starla Longee, Doreen “Willie” Martell, Nichole Longee, Troy Larson, Dorsey Young, Marvin, Valerie, Sissy Nepstad Lahoma, Emerson, RJ, Lester Elise Young, Loren Les, Vonda, Arnie Bighorn, Arnon Blackdog, Lenny, Melvin, Frenchie, Mathew, Harlon Rattling Thunder, David “Tokyo” Magnan; aunties, Nita “Doug” Youngman, Arleta “Puggie” Blackdog, Ethlen White Hawk; and uncle, Art Brown.
