Roberta Lucille Bushman-Archdale (To Wiyan) started her spirit journey on February 14, 2021.
Roberta was born to Lucille Day Bushman and Ernest Bushman on May 20th,1940. To her dad she was known as ‘Daddy’s Babygirl Supergirl Bushman’.
Roberta was born and raised in Wolf Point, Mt. She would always speak of growing up with her parents, her seven siblings, the happy times they shared and the way life was in the mid 1900’s. In the late 1950’s she married Frederick ‘Arnie’ Todd. Her and Arnie relocated to Los Angeles, California. From this union, Florence, Ramona, Lorraine, and Michael Todd were born. While in California, Roberta finished high school, went on to a technical college and earned an AA degree in Business Management. Her and Arnie later divorced.
Roberta moved back to Wolf Point, Mt, where she worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the leasing department and then as a realty clerk for nearly 15 years. She met and married Delbert Kennedy and moved to Poplar, Mt for a time. After some time, she would have two more children, Keith Kennedy and Angela Kennedy. Roberta worked at A&S Industries, Silverwolf Casino, and Wotanin Wowapi before retiring. While working at various positions, she acquired great friendships, who she thought of as relatives. She became close with Mercy McDonald and family with whom she would love throughout her lifetime. She would establish great relationships with Dreamis Big Horn, Agnes Moran, and so many others who held a special place in her heart.
One of Roberta’s greatest attributes was how much love she had for everyone she met. Her quick wit, fun-loving personality, and humor left a smile on a person’s heart. She was a natural caretaker, she loved and cared for all of her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and adopted so many as her very own. When she was able, she loved to cruise all the corners of Wolf Point. You could find her in her car checking out the town or at the Silverwolf Casino playing bingo. Gary Clark was always so welcoming and thoughtful of her as she frequented the casino. Roberta loved a good card game; in the past you would find her and her niece ‘Pie’ Jackson at an area whist tournament. Roberta was known as a social butterfly and made a friend wherever she went. One of Roberta’s favorite past times was playing contract rummy with her sisters, brothers, nieces, and friends sometimes until the sun came up. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, Facebook, and her favorite series, Yellowstone.
Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; Lucille and Ernest, Sisters; Darlene, Joyce, Gertrude, Brothers; Edwin ‘Luke’, Raymond ‘Dean’, and Patrick, Daughters; Florence, Ramona, Lorraine, Sons; Michael and Keith, and numerous relatives.

I Would see see Roberta in the halls at the 12 plex when she was not so sick. She always wanted to chat and talk about what she was going to do that day and then talk about other small talk. She had a kind heart and always took time to greet everyone. She had such a strong faith. She cared about everyone and treated everyone whose path she crossed with a nod or a hello good morning/afternoon. She will be missed by all. Her spirit lives on in the memories she left with each of us! I know she is enjoying her new body in Heaven. Condolences to all her family ,relatives and friends!
