Serena Mae Bird, age 70 went to the Spirit World on August 21, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Health Care in Billings, Montana.
Serena was born on April 7, 1947 to Agnes Ownspipe and Stephen Bird in Poplar, Montana.
Serena grew up in Riverside, MT and Newtown, ND, that’s where she met Moses “Chico” Smith and together they had Winona and Sheila Smith.
Later in life she met Joseph Miller and soon married and had Jodi and Lyle Miller. They later divorced and remained life long friends.
Serena enjoyed playing machines, going to Bingo and spending time with family, especially her grand and great grandchildren.
Serena is survived by her daughters Winona (Tim) Bryner, Jodi (Robbie) Magnan and Sheila Walker; brothers Steven “Woody” (Violet) Bird, Amos Cloud; sister Corlene (John) Bird and many grand and great grandchildren too numerous to mention.
Serena is preceded in death by her mother Agnes Ownspipe; father Stephen Bird; son Lyle Miller; brother Nelson Bird and sister Caroline Bird, along with numerous relatives.
Serena was loved tremendously and will be missed greatly.
