Theresa Allison Mckay Brown, 43, was born in San Francisco. CA on June 3, 1974 to Patrick Henry Mckay and Phoebe Melbourne both from Brockton, MT.
At an early age her family returned to Brockton, MT. Where she attended elementary school. Upon completion of the 8th grade at Wahpeton Indian Schools she attended Flandreau Indian School from the late ‘80s to early ‘90s. She earned her Montana GED on Aug. 5, 2011.
Naturally talented to draw freehand, she entertained her children and grandchildren. Creating holiday decorations, picture frame backgrounds and other items she saw fit to spruce up. A great sense of humor, memory and bold quick-wittedness, she used well to her advantage in child rearing and daily life.
She always wanted a big family. She met Billy Brown in September 1995 and they married in September 1999. Until the time of her sudden passing.

The Lord set a race before her. Truly since we are surrounded by witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which entangles us (different for each individual). She ran her race with endurance and persistence from her home in Poplar, MT. She finished her race and the Lord called her to His Heavenly Home, Tuesday January 30th, 2018.
A wake will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the 1st Baptist Church in Poplar, Montana. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the 1st Baptist Church in Poplar. Interment will follow at Riverside Presbyterian Cemetery in Brockton.
