Thomas Edmund (T.Ed) Walton passed away on January 5, 2024 at his home in Wolf Point. Montana. He was born July 29, 1965 to his parents June and Lorie “Tweet” Walton, the youngest of five children.
T.Ed attended Frontier Elementary/Jr High and Wolf Point High School. He had a very good heart and was very kind to everyone. If anyone needed help he was willing to lend a hand and was helpful. He often gave rides to family and friends.
He was the caretaker for his mother, Lorie “Tweet”, until she passed away March 13, 2023. He made sure that Lorie was able to attend traditional ceremonies and family gatherings, transporting her and patiently waiting while she visited with our large family and many friends. This allowed her family and community to be able to love and appreciate their mother and grandmother for many years. T.Ed also took Lorie on many road trips including to Yellowstone National Park, Crazy Horse National Monument, and often to Billings, MT. Their highlighted excursion was to a long round trip to Las Cruces, NM and through California providing her with a much dreamed for journey.
He also cared for his daughter and sons. He enjoyed going on trips with his family and fishing. When he was younger he enjoyed riding motorcycles, stirring up dust all along the Missouri River of his childhood ranch. He could also be found hunting the Montana Badlands with his brothers.
He is survived by: his children, sons Miles and Michael Walton, daughter Tayden Walton.
grandchildren: Josiah and Davettia Walton; his sisters Dorie (Jim) Rush, Carolyn (Bill) Rusche. his brothers: Steve Walton and Patrick (Nerissa) Walton; Aunt Carol Westit Jones and many relatives. He will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edmund Commodore “June” Walton, Jr. and Loretta “Lorie/ Tweet” Wetsit- Walton. Grandparents John Earl and Nina Catherine (Redstone) Wetsit and Edmund and Jessie (McCune) Walton.

Rest easy, cousin. We may have lost touch years ago, but I have nothing but fond memories of you. Your death song was a good one. I can only hope mine is half as good.
You will be remembered. To the living, you are gone; to the sorrowful, you will never return. To the angry, you were cheated, but to the happy, you are at peace. And to the faithful, you will never leave.
May the Great Spirit watch over you.
