Travis Aaron St.Germaine, 38, went to be with the Creator on June 13, 2022. He was born to Lila Doney and Roger St.Germaine Sr., on March 17, 1984 at the Fort Belknap Hospital on the Fort Belknap Reservation. Attending primary schools in Wolf Point, Travis graduated from the Wolf Point High School in 2003. A gifted athlete, Travis excelled in several sporting activities in his youth. Learning how to operate in a team centric environment, Travis honed his work ethic as a proud wildland firefighter and through various other professions. Although he found happiness in several different jobs, Travis found his calling working with area youth as a paraprofessional in the Wolf Point School District. Travis was passionate about teaching the next generation of leaders in our community. He understood the importance of passing on his knowledge and experience to others. His leadership skills and keen knowledge of human relationships were often sought out to by teachers and students alike to teach life skills to others. As important as his work was in his life, the foundation of Travis’s life was built around his family. Meeting the love of his life, Sara Martin, in 2008, together they brought 3 children, Xhaiden (Ziggy), Talia (Tia), and Vincent (Vinny) into this world while raising his nephew Wyatt as his own son. One of Travis’s favorite activities was getting together with his family and showcasing his culinary skills on the grill to them. An avid follower of the culinary arts and seeing the enjoyment that sharing with his family brought to him, a “bbq” was an event that his family joyfully participated in. At these events, Travis was known for friendly spirited “smack talk” while supporting his favorite sporting teams. Many in the community knew they could reach out to Travis and find a comforting friend with whom they could share the details of their lives.
Travis was preceded in death by his father Roger St.Germaine Sr., brother Thomas St.Germaine, sister Denice Ann St. Marks, Grandfathers George Harry Doney and Arthur Ray St.Germaine, Grandmother Donna Marie St.Germaine, and numerous Uncles and Aunts.
He is survived by his wife Sara, children Wyatt, Xhaiden, Talia, and Vincent, his mother Lila (George), brothers Jamie (Charlene), Roger Jr. (Alyson), Jason (Shelby), Jordan (Mattie), his sister Donna Jo (Fletcher), and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. For all who knew and loved him, Travis will be greatly missed by his many relatives and friends.
The world will be a dimmer place without you. One day we will be reunited and until then Rest in Eternal Peace my beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend.
