Valerie Ann WarClub Todd, age 68, was born on June 21, 1953 to Virgil WarClub and Maude L. White Horse in Poplar, MT.
Val was raised by her grandma Lucille Powell Left Hand Thunder up until she was 15. She then went to live with Pauline and Chiefy Boxer for many years. After that she met and married her husband Darrell K. Todd, Sr. on June 29, 1990, they were married for many years until his passing. Together they decided to become foster parents, taking in her nieces and nephews Melody, Waverly, Merlino, Wayan and Randon Bear. She loved each and every one of them like her own. She also loved adopted sons Rodney βJackβ Drum, Jack Crawford and Merlino Bear, Wayan and Randon Bear.
Val never missed a family gathering and loved visiting and drinking coffee with her cousin John Spotted Bird. She also loved to cruise and listen to music, walks out to the badlands.
Val had a special aunt Mary Gourneau whom she talked about all the time.
Val will be missed by everyone who knew her especially granddaughters Kiara and MacKenzie whom she liked to tease and joke around with. Val had a hand in raising all the grandchildren especially Vangie (Johnathan) RunsThrough, Laney Boadle and Kiera Bear.
She leaves behind a special aunt Doris Spotted Bird and was preceded in death by adopted aunt Catherine Spotted Bird and special uncle Leland Spotted Bird.

Rest In Peace cousin. I remember those times when we all went to school together, Granda Gawky would drive us all to school in his pickup. Then take us sliding and even pull us behind his pickup; you, Bonnie, Heavy, Lester, Darrell and I. Those were the times.
