Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin went to be with the Creator on February 13, 2022. Vanessa “Nessa” Mae Clancy was born on December 25, 1976 to Marilyn Noreen Clancy and Allen Dale Longtree in Glasgow, MT. She was raised by her second mom, Donna Hopkins-Blackeagle, on the family farm north of Nashua. She attended schools in Nashua and she enjoyed staying active. She played numerous sports from basketball, cheerleading and track and field.
She had her first daughter, Brianna Fola, on May 27, 1995 with Myron Jackson in Glasgow, MT. She attended Miles Community College and earned her Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Vanessa later met Robert White in 1997 in Glasgow, MT. Together they had their second daughter, Juslene Skye, on May 18, 1999 in Great Falls, MT. Vanessa and Robert married on March 18, 2003. Vanessa worked at Valley View Home while living in Glasgow. She was very proud of being a nurse, she was very passionate about what she did.
The family moved to Wolf Point in 2004. They had their 3rd child, Makia Joy, on October 27, 2005 who was born in Sidney, MT. The following year they had their 4th and last baby, Jakobe Glen, I Wolf Point on December 21, 2006. Vanessa worked in the Emergency Department at Northeast Montana Health Services in Poplar, MT. She also worked at Faith Lutheran Home for a little while. The family moved to Great Falls at the end of 2012.
Vanessa held numerous jobs here and there. Her first grandchild, Kaison, was born on April 14, 2018. Later on, Vanessa also acquired 2 more grandchildren, Nalea and Imara, in December 2019.
Vanessa was a kind hearted, loving, caring person. She loved to sing, regardless if she knew the words or not. She was a dedicated, die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Michael Jordan. Whenever you would see her, she always had something Steelers on and be rockin’ her Jordans. She also loved to play basketball, ice fish, watch sports, go swimming and just spend time with her family. She always had a smile on her face and was never afraid to say what was on her mind, even if it got her in trouble. She loved her children dearly and enjoyed every moment with them. She was their #1 cheerleader of whatever they did in life.
Vanessa is survived by all the children: Brianna (Austin), Juslene, Makia and Jakobe; her grandchildren, Kaison, Imara and Nalea; her kids dad, Robert; special companion, Bob Almanza; sisters, Natasha and Gracie; nieces Te’a and Angel; nephews, Christopher and Memphis; aunts, Kim, Toni, Maggie an Myra; uncles, Tom, Mark, Gordon, Bruce, Glenn; cousins, Gabe, Rick, Mike, Diana, Brittany, James, Morgan, Tanya, Leo, Bridger, Denelda, Robin, Tyson, Brickie, Krista, Lizzy, Fanci, Tal’on, Coy, Mattia, Thunder, Theaira, Acacia, Sam, Renee, Jade, Bubbaz, Tomiah and numerous other extended family.
Vanessa is preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn Clancy and Allen Dale Longtree; sister Lori; aunts Elizabeth and Brenda; uncles Gary, Cordell, Matt; cousins Jory, Jennifer, Deb; grandmas Donna, Lillian, Dorothy, Geraldine; grandpas Tom Sr, Nelson, Spud, Floyd, Doug, Jim, “Toad”, Abel Jr and numerous other extended family members. The family apologizes if anyone was left out.
