Wayne Michael Dahl, 60, of Wolf Point, MT went home to be with his Savior on September 7, 2023. Wayne was born to Allen and R. Naomi Dahl on September 11, 1962 in Ada, MN. He grew up on their beloved farm in Borup, MN with his siblings Neil, Scott and Valerie. Wayne graduated from Borup High School in 1980 with dreams of being a chef or a farmer. After a few conversations with his dad, Wayne decided that farming would be his career because he was needed on the farm. Wayne prayed the Repentance Prayer with Pastor Ron Wikk around this time as well.
In 1989, Wayne went on a blind date and met the love of his life, Connie. They dated while Connie finished college and he worked towards purchasing a home and tractor to provide for them. After selling his collection of gopher bounty to the county to buy a ring, Wayne proposed to Connie in the parking lot of the Quickway Gas Station in Moorhead, MN on July 4, 1996. They were married on November 23, 1996. Wayne and Connie joyously welcomed premature twins Christina Dahl (Stormer) and LaRae Dahl in 1997. Wayne, Connie, and the twins resided in Borup, MN for 1 more year when they moved to Glendive, MT in 1998. They welcomed their third child Lindsey Dahl (Walton) in 2000. Sarah Dahl was warmly welcomed into the family in 2005. The family moved to Wolf Point, MT in 2003 for Connie’s new job with Altacare, where they resided for the remainder of his life. After moving to Wolf Point, Wayne did seasonal work for a few years at the Sugar Beet Plant in Glendive,MT. Following this, he worked many years for the Stockyard in Glasgow, then retired to working in the ice business until 2022. Wayne was an avid collector of John Deere tractors and tools. He loved going to garage sales, auction sales, and anywhere else where he could get “a good deal”. Wayne was honest to a fault, enjoyed a good laugh, and loved his family more than anything else in the world. Wayne spent his final week on this earth at Riverside Hospice Home in Billings, MT surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Wayne is survived by his wife Connie Dahl, daughters Christina Stormer (Quincy), LaRae Dahl, Lindsey Walton (Ronnel), Sarah Dahl; mother, R. Naomi Dahl; Siblings, Neil, Scott, and Valerie Dahl.
Wayne is proceeded in death by his father Allen Dahl.
