Albert Roy “Chief” Beauchamp, 57, passed away November 1, 2014 of natural causes, he was born on March 6, 1957 in Poplar to Roy and Vera (Todd) Beauchamp.
He grew up in Glasgow attending school there and was active in basketball and baseball. He received his GED and shortly after that enlisted into the U.S. Marines.
Chief attended and graduated out of boot camp from San Diego. While serving his country he was stationed in numerous countries overseas. He ended his service in Camp Lajune in North Carolina, getting an honorable discharge in 1978.
Throughout his life he worked at various jobs such as a ranch hand, oil rigger, seismographer and security guard. Chief enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football on T.V., playing cards, board games and when he was younger he liked to draw. But his specialty was cooking. He was a very good cook, always chefing up some delicious dish or meal.
Although Chief had many medical issues he endured in his life, he never let them get him down. He was quick witted, had a good sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. And he had a heart of gold, he never forgot the family’s birthdays or anniversaries, giving them cards or a call.
Chief is survived by his mother Vera Beauchamp of Wolf Point, sister Sue (Ed) Bauer of Oswego, brothers LeRoy (Olivia) Beauchamp and Abner (Bessie) Beauchamp all of Wolf Point. His longtime companion Patti Lowdog and his adopted daughter Jory, whom he loved so much. He is also survived by uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews and all his friends in the hood.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Beauchamp, sisters Elizabeth and Wendy Beauchamp, brother John Beauchamp, nephews Abner Beauchamp Jr. and Briar Bauer.

Condolences and sympathy to the family and loved ones of my friend Albert Roy ( Chief) Beauchamp from the Beaudry family. A family friend of my family over the years way back. My friend always. You were good and kind to me and my family always. A solid friend to all who was a caring, good natured, good hearted man with a witty sense of humor. We had many laughs and good times. Chiefy was one of a kind, a goodman and a gentleman when needed only found once in a while and I’m glad he was my friend. He will be missed very much so. I have many good memories of my friend and know we will met again in Gods kingdom. RIP Bro.
