Arthur Bruno Weyrauch, age 59, of Wolf Point, MT went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2012 in McKenzie County, ND.
He was born on August 22, 1953 to Wallace “Sonny” and Verneice (Hanson) Weyrauch in Williston, ND. He grew up on a dairy farm South East of Ray, ND. This is where his love of horses began. He attended grade school there and graduated from Ray High School in 1971. He spent many summers growing up working on the family harvest crew starting out running Massey Super 92’s.
After graduation, he attended Billings Technical Institute where he studied mechanics. Art worked as a farm hand and an oil rigger for many years. He also spent many years in the trucking industry hauling cattle, produce, lumber, or oil rig equipment. He traveled many miles throughout the entire United States to the point his family would call him a “walking atlas”.
Art had a brief union with Teresa Tong, from which their son, Wayne, was born.
In 1981, Art met Connie Eggebrecht and they were married on June 26, 1981. They began their life together living in Wolf Point. Shortly after marrying Art, Connie and Wayne were blessed with three additions to their family, Jacob, Cassandra, and Jarod. Art loved spending time with his kids and especially his grandkids. They held a very special place in his heart.
He loved NASCAR, rodeos, spending time with his horses, and camping. He was a very avid fan of all high school sports; he often followed the Wolf Point Wolves all across Montana. He was honored with a start quilt by the Wolves’ boys’ basketball team. He also enjoyed hunting in the mountains and always returned home with great stories. Art was also a member of the Elks Lodge. He was very caring and willing to help others in any way he could. He had a big heart and his memories will be treasured by many. Art was currently working as a Field Representative for Power Fuels.
Art is survived by his wife, Connie Weyrauch of Wolf Point, MT; son, Wayne (Donna) Weyrauch and children, Jearney and Gage all of Williston, ND; daughter, Cassandra Weyrauch and children, Treyton and Kolby all of Dickinson, ND; son, Jarod (Misty Ericka) Weyrauch and children, Colton and Wyatt all of Wolf Point; grandson, Caden Weyrauch and his mother, Dani both of Minot, ND; sister, Rita O’Neil of Missoula, MT; brother, Herb Weyrauch of Williston; sister, Vicki McNarmara and her husband, Gary of Saco, MT; brother, Jesse Weyrauch and his wife, Lori of Stanley, ND; sister, Anne Robbennolt and her husband, Mark of Gettysburg, SD; brother, Joe Weyrauch and wife, Lynn of Saco; brother, Mike Wood and his wife, Judy of Sidney, MT; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

This is really starting to settle in, just got the news about Art. I’m so grateful of the time I recently spent with Art in Butte, MT. at the beginning of October. Even though it was 30 years since I had last seen Art. It was like seeing a childhood hero, once again. Art was larger then life to me as a kid growing up. All of Sonny’s kids were special to myself and my brothers. They all had such a spirit about them, that can’t be descibed. I was especially taken by Art because no matter how obnoxious of a kid I was. Art never left me out of anything that was going on. He always included me, even against my brothers protests. From drives into Ray, to sitting betweens Arts legs, while running the combine, to playing games, I was always right by his side. He was something special to this kid. A day never past where I didn’t look back and reflect on my times as a kid, with Art.
The funny part about our last visit, is having to ask my Aunt Mary, who is the guy who looks like Sonny? Turns out, he was inquiring on who I was. Once, I knew it was Art. It was like being a kid again and I couldn’t stop talking with him. I’m glad, I had the opportunity to tell him, just how much he meant to me and I wanted to thank him for being Art. I loved running into him in the hallways of the hotel and the stories shared about growing up. Art had something special, a gift for people that is not common. He was geniune, humble, loving and honest. His heart and love for family was endless. I am going to miss my chance to see him again, as I want to come out to see the Oil Rigs with him. It hurts a great deal to know that he has passed and this opportunity will not happen. I will hold and cherish all my memories, as they are even more precious then before.

Anne, Joey, Jesse, Herb,Rita,Vicki, and families,
Sorry to hear of Art’s passing. You are like part of my family. Harvest time was always so fun, I would wait to see the trucks & machines start rolling in. I knew than that I would get to see everyone again. Art was the one that always kept everyone on task except for those parts run and occasional dress-ups in the yard. It was great to have seen him at Bobby’s wedding, we got to have a long conversation & catch up on our lives. I will now always treasure that it was truly a great conversation, we were both happy for one another & discussed the ups & downs in life. I got to get a big bear hug. Your family is always close in my thoughts & I get updates when I see Anne. If I could ,I would be there in person, unfortunately I can’t but my thoughts & prayers are with the whole family. Take Care!! God Bless you all, you have some pretty awesome angels looking down on you!! Janet Simon Naasz

Art you taught us so much. You were the hardest working man I’ve ever known. 16 hr days were normal for you. I figured after a few weeks you’d buckle but you could out-do the energizer bunny:-) Its hard to rationalize that just last week we had breakfast together and worked all day as you were your ole self. Well it’s time for you to rest now. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for all you gave. R.I.P.

My thoughts and prayers remain with the Weyrauch family. Art was great father who will be missed by so many.

Dear Connie and family
My sincerest sympathy to all of you. Art was so good to us. After Dean and Dennis died; he was the first one out here to help us with everything. I was so greatful for all he did; and he was always willing; even in the past years to do whatever he could for us. He was genuine and so good hearted. My gratitude cannot be adequately expressed.
May God bless you and may you be comforted. It is comforting to know that we will see our boys again!!
Our love, and prayers, Mary and Jolyn Dillon

Connie – I was in Wolf Point last week and only then learned about Art’s passing. I feel fortunate that I was able to meet him 13 years ago and will never forget how wonderful you two were together. I went to the cemetery and saw the tribute you left in his resting place. It’s beautiful. Although long overdue, I want you to know how sorry I am. I’m sure it’s been a hard year for you and am glad to know you are surrounded by loving friends and family to support you. My very deepest sympathies to you and your family. With Love – Erna
