Charles Roy Black Dog, age 53, died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Roosevelt Memorial Center in Culbertson, MT.
He was born February 1, 1962 to Robert and Cecelia Black Dog, Sr. in Poplar, MT. He grew up in Fort Kipp and graduated from Brockton High School in 1980.
He played lead guitar and sang in the Black Dog Band with his brothers, he enjoyed that so much and wanted to practice with his brothers every chance he got. He loved the band KISS, his idol was Ace Frehley and liked to be known as “ACE”. He married Dorreen Brown in 1996 and to that union had 3 beautiful daughters, Marlana, Marcella and Martina. They later divorced. He loved driving around with his girls and always gave family and friends rides to wherever they needed to go. He was excited about his first grandchild being born, Ta’Nsiya LaRoze, whom he loved and spoiled very much. He loved listening to his music, joking around and watching movies, just all around having a good time. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his three daughters, Marlana Marie, Marcella, Jo and Martina Lynn and one granddaughter Ta’Nesiya, all of Fort Kipp, also Todd Spotted Wolf whom he took as a son. Also three brothers Robert Jr., Duane (Val) Black Dog, William (Patricia) Black Dog and a sister, Cindi (Leonard) Follette, all of Fort Kipp. Many cousins, nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both his parents Robert Sr. and Cecelia Black Dog, a sister Evelyn Counter-Olson and younger brother Isaac L. Black Dog.
