Cody James was the most Humble and genuinely forgiving person. No matter what wrongs were done he would always be there if and when you needed him. Whether it was just a visit, car ride, or even the last bite of the sandwich, he would make sure it was yours without hesitation. He was always known within his close friends and family to have a rosary or give a cross to whomever it may be, he knew that Jesus was always there with him every day!
In his younger years he had created a love for singing at powwows, making round dance songs and grass dancing. Cody was such a talented young man, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, mud bogging, playing pool, basketball, you name it. He was always down for whatever, when ever.
Aside from being physically well-maintained he was quite the flirt, many ladies always told his mom (Frances) that he was such a handsome guy, mostly because they were his wife or his girlfriend. Especially at the casino.
Cody was a friend when you needed one, a shoulder to lean on, and a humble strong defender to many.

Genesis 50:19-20
And Joseph said unto them, fear not; for am i in the place of god?
As for you, you thought evil against me: but god meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
To our extended families, and friends I am sorry that I can’t include you in this obit, I have been getting some work done. #justiceforcodyweekscombs

Frannie & Jimmie, I am so upset. He always treated me good. He always hugged me, called me mom, and asked how Dakota was doing. No thoughts about himself, he cared how others were doing over himself. I’m devastated. He is truly an angel in heaven. I will miss my boy. Love you Cody. You deserved better.
