Our Loving Father Curtis Lewis Red Eagle, Sr., age 60 of Poplar, MT went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2017.
He was born on November 14, 1956 to Sterling and Mayme Red Eagle. He attended schools in South Dakota and Montana. He received his GED for United Tribes in North Dakota.
In 1976 Curtis met and married Mary C. Drum. Together they had three children, they later divorced but remained friends.
Curtis worked at A&S Tribal Industries and Spotted Bull Treatment Center. He enjoyed playing machines, listening to music and visiting his kids. He also loved to play basketball. He played in many basketball tournaments with his brothers.
Curtis is survived by his loving children Ida Crow Feather, Curtis Red Eagle, Jr. and Sariah Red Eagle; his grandchildren Darrell Follette, Jr., Neal Follette, Kevin, Ravelene, Taven Brock, Brendan Drum, Avari Gray and Paul Young; brothers and sisters Pauline Boxer, Rose (Maynard) Longee, Elmer Red Eagle, Frank (Mary) Red Eagle, Vern (Arlene) Red Eagle, Tim (Twyla) Red Eagle, Robert, Lawrence, Myron Red Eagle; adopted children Allen Russell II and kids, Brian Eder and kids, Summer Drum, Gary Drum, Autumn and Apryl Stormy; he’s also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandkids; extended families include Red Eagle’s, Blount’s, Iron Bear’s, Ogle’s and EagleBoy’s.
Curtis is preceded in death by a special friend Mary C. Savior; granddaughter Chelle Rose Follette; parents Sterling and Mayme Red Eagle; brother Dale Red Eagle.
