Our beloved brother, father, uncle and nephew David Ray Tuttle began his journey on January 5, 2019. He was born on October 25, 1970 in Pierre, SD to Lillian Tuttle.
Our mother then moved us to Poplar, MT where David lived all his life. He attended Poplar schools excelling in basketball throughout middle and high school before graduating in 1989. Later he met Tanya GreyBear and from this union they had twin girls Taree’an and Daree’an Tuttle.
David reunited with Jewel Lynn Greybear and married Dec. 17 2013. Together they lived in Fort Totten, ND and were expecting a new found joy only to end in heartache for the Creator called him back home Jan 29 2014. Not long after his wife Jewel followed June 2015. Now widowed, he moved back to Poplar, MT where he lived until his death.
Back in the day David was an avid firefighter from late 1980’s to 2000’s working his way up to crew boss. David enjoyed playing cards, dice, visiting family and friends or just cruising around.
David is survived by his daughters Daree’an (Will) Tuttle; Taree’an (George) Tuttle; a step daughter Cante Greybear; two grandsons Kheston Ferguson and Grayson Montclair; brothers, Rodney (Diana) Tuttle and Travis Tuttle; aunt Delphine Good Teacher; uncle Bud Philbrick; nephews Rodney, Zeke, T.J. Tuttle and Walkin Brown; nieces Kelly, Jaylin, Lillian and Taini Tuttle; cousins Terry, Lonnie, Delvin Mace and Rita Cain.
David is preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Lynn Greybear; baby boy, David Ray Tuttle Jr.; mother Lillian Tuttle; grandparents Henry and Josephine (Good Teacher) Tuttle; uncle Chuck Trudell; nephew Dancing in the Clouds. If we left anyone out we do apologize.
