Dennis Craig Owens, Sr. was born to our beloved parents Reginald Dennis Owens, Sr. and Janice Faye Garfield Owens on February 3, 1969, he was the youngest of 10 children. He passed away suddenly on December 4, 2019 of natural causes at his beloved wife’s home Phoebe McKay Owens who preceded him in death several years ago, as did his step son Daniel McKay.
Denny was a natural mechanic at fixing cars, washers, dryers, TV’s, anything he could do for anyone who needed his help. He was a firefighter for the Fort Peck Agency for many years. He made a lot of friends throughout his life, as he was always so kind hearted and always had an open door to many people whom he invited to stay at his home. Denny worked as an EMT for NEMHS alongside his brother Maynard and his niece Amber. He had been working on his GED and was a client of Spotted Bull Treatment Center. He belonged to the LDS Church. Denny’s favorite things were cruising around with his best friend Danny Renz, working on cars, and helping people. He was very proud of all of his nephews and nieces and their children.
Denny is preceded in death by our parents; his parents Phoebe; step son Daniel; sisters Daisy Fisher and April Owens; brother Reggie “Adam” Jr. He is survived by his son Denny Owens, Jr.; brothers Richard of Sweet Home, OR, Maynard (Avis), Alan (Sue) of Billings, Troy (Elissa); sisters Paula of Poplar and Christie of Yakima, WA.
Please forgive us if we forgot to mention anyone, it was not intentional.
He is no longer in pain but rather rejoicing in our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom now. Rest in peace baby brother, we love you and we’ll always miss your smile, laughter and jokes about “Got any change?” and “Got any mustard?”

Hebrews 9:27-28 King James Version (KJV)

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

I share this poem with you all…it helps me as I’ve been through alot of losses of loved ones
[i carry your heart with me(i carry it in]
BY E. E. CUMMINGS
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
May the Lord be with you all!

RIP, my dear young brother. You endured the sometimes cold hearts of this world, yet you always had the warmest of heart to help others and those in need. I pray your journey to the other side gives us comfort to know that one more deserving soul is rejoicing in eternal happiness. Till we meet again dear brother, feel free to dance and check up on us once in a while.
