Donald William Kluth, age 87, of Vida, MT passed away at the St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings, MT on September 22, 2011.
Don was born to William F. Kluth and Edna (Kuester) Kluth on August 9, 1924. They lived in various placed in McCone County before moving to Fort Peck, MT in 1936. Later they moved to the farm south of Vida where he attended the old Vida School. Don was drafted in the Army and spent two years serving in Korea during WWII.
On February 20, 1950, Don married Ilene Leuenberger in Glasgow, MT. To this union, two daughters, Vonnie and Vickie, were born. Don spent his years farming and ranching, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed going fishing and was a life long lover of horses.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Harold and Jack; and sister, Dorothy Kurokawa.
He is survived by his wife, Ilene of the family home in Vida; daughters, Vonnie (Ralph) Bates of Wolf Point, Vicki (Joe) Millard of Purvis, MS.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 28 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point with Rev. Bruce Bogar officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Vida Cemetery in Vida.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Our summers in Vida would have never been the same without Uncle Don coming over to visit. Wether it be for a cup of coffee or to play cards. Don’t know what we would have done without those visits even though I could never learn to play pitch.
