Ethan Allen Connell, 26, passed away in a car accident on January 13th, 2016 while on his way to work. Ethan was born in Jerome, Idaho on November 6th, 1989 and was the oldest born to Pamela and Tobey Connell. He spent his childhood years in Wendell, Idaho and adolescent years in Wolf Point, MT. He attended Wolf Point High School and then received the opportunity to become a Journeyman and seized it.
Due to his job he was able to travel to different states and found a place to call home in Kuna, Idaho in 2010. While owning his home he still traveled for work and ended up working in North Dakota in his last years.
Ethan was an avid and amazing guitar player, as he had taught himself and learned by ear when he was a sophomore in high school. He was always up for anything when it came to putting a smile on someone’s face. Ethan loved to snowboard, snowmobile, and go dirt bike riding with friends and family whenever he had time off of work and wasn’t playing his guitar with Dylan Weins.
Ethan never had a hard time making friends due to his goofy and good-hearted nature. No matter the situation he always had some story that made everyone laugh and have a good time.
He was preceded in death by his father Tobey Connell and his mother Pamela Connell-Ruffing.
Ethan was an amazing son, brother, nephew and friend. He will be dearly missed by his sisters; Shayna Connell and Piper Ruffing, his stepfather; Slade (Jessica) Ruffing, grandparents; Ruby (Brice) Wagner, Dan (Sherry) Boone, Rick (Connie) Connell, and Linda (Mark) McGuire. In addition he leaves behind more loving grandparents, great grandparents, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

May God bless Ethan and the family he leaves behind. I looked at the Class of 2008 yearbook from Wolf Point High School and found Ethan on 23 pages or he is in 18% of the book. He was a model student while I was a teacher, a member of the Swing Choir, winning honor awards, football awards, and voted “best dressed” for a senior boy. He was one of best students that I got to know when he was in high school. May God bless you Ethan!

I had the honor and privilege of getting to know Ethan on a job in Big Piney. Still remember the huge smile he always had. After work his favorites words were “sure, lets go” to anything or anywhere we asked him to go. From playing basketball at the High School gym to just headed to Wal-mart for grocery shopping. Met up with him 2 years later in ND, stayed at his camper for a week and just talked about all the stories we’ve encounter. Its an Honor to have met you My friend.. we will miss you. Strength and Prayers for the Family.

What a wonderful future hope that is.

I had no idea, I was looking for your name to tag you in a truck that was sunk in a ice covered Lake. Because I laugh at that story of yours. You were always a positive person and a great person to be around. I am saddened to find out this news a month late. I only knew you briefly, but inconsidered you a good friend. Too young. Rest in peace. My condolences to your family.
