Harold Paul Hamilton, age 69, of Wolf Point, MT passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his home.
He was born to Harvey and Angel (Armstrong) Hamilton on April 4, 1944. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point.
He attended elementary and high school in Wolf Point. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army. After being discharged, he joined the Peace Corps in Whitewater, AZ. He attended the University of Montana, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Social work.
He was married to Debra St. Germaine on May 10, 1973. They were blessed with a son, Dale Whitecloud Hamilton in 1974. He enjoyed fishing with his son and wife. A favorite pastime of his was watching TV and listening to basketball games on the radio.
He is survived by his wife, Debra and son, Dale of Wolf Point; adopted daughter, Heavynn Onstead of Wolf Point; stepdaughter, Pearl McConnell and stepson, Simon Follet of Wolf Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harvey, Joe, Paul, David, Robert, and Dale Hamilton; sisters, Violet, Cynthia, and Glaydas Hamilton.
A rosary will be held 7 p.m. Friday, August 23 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 24 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Chicken Hill Cemetery in Wolf Point.
