Georgia Leigh Plainbull aka Patti feist-mitchell says
Hazel was my birth mom. I was given up for adoption in 1965 when I was just born. I later on in life finally got to meet her when I had my youngest child Danielle in 1993. I got to know her & Mosey WhiteHawk at that time. We kept in touch and I met all my siblings, Aunties on her side of the family & some cousins. I went & stayed with her in Poplar many times. I have lived off the Rez all my life & currently live in Pueblo, Colorado. My birth name she gave me is Georgia Leigh Plainbull. Aka Patti Feist-Mitchell. She was my mom, she gave me life and for that I always respected her & loved her. I am very saddened that she passed away without me getting to see her & say goodbye. May she be at peace without no sorrows or pain now. I cant explain how her passing has affected me but I am grateful that you gave me life, I always missed you as I grew up & I will miss you still. I love you mom Hazel, Rest in peace….
